Scott D'Amore and Petey Williams are backstage visiting at the show.

The pre show features an interview by Lauren with Beer Money Inc. who chat about 3-D traveling all the way back from their New Japan Pro Wrestling show and being on a plane for 20 hours and how it will affect them tonight. Heel promo by Beer Money Inc. - that was a fast babyface run.

The pre show features Rhino & Eric Young (babyface and heel?) Vs Brutus Magnus & Doug Williams.

Young plays heel in this match walking out on Rhino and this leads to Jesse Neal coming out and joins the match as Rhino's new partner (all this for a pre show match?). The Invasion deliver a doomsday device with a clothesline to Neal and get the pin. So the guy not booked in the match does the job? Paging the main event of 'Uncensored' in '95 with Hogan and Vader.

Our pal Bob Kapur at SLAM! Wrestling makes a cameo in the front row with Jeremy Borash. Dixie Carter is also in the front row with her son.

Onto the main show.

First up we have Suicide defending the X Division Title against Consequences Creed, Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin in a 'King of the Mountain Match' with Curtis Granderson of the Detroit Tigers presenting the title to the winner...AND HE IS DOING COMMENTARY!! Yikes.

Expect a big babyface pop for the MCMGs.

I take it back - Granderson is great thus far - specifically with Don West. The guy is definitely a fan and can talk well for someone out of his element.

Just about 3:00 into the match Lethal takes the first fall after being dumped onto the ladder by Suicide and getting covered by the champion. Lethal now spends 2:00 in the penalty box and Suicide is eleigible to climb the ladder. Suicide follows up a minute later and pin Shelley, who is in the box. Lethal, Creed and Sabin all work on Suicide and jump on him to get the pinfall but Lethal is credited with getting the pin. Thus far Suicide and Lethal are the only ones eligible. Creed hits his version of the F-5 on Shelley for a pin so add him to the list with Suicide and Lethal. Biggest spot of the match sees Sabin run across the ring and hop onto the penalty box and deliver a splash onto the rest of the competitors. Shelley sets up a ladder with Sabin but neither are eligible so Sabin lays down for Shelley and gets pinned. Suicide stops Shelley with a springboard dropkick to Shelley on the ladder. Sabin gets out of the box and is now eligible after pinning Lethal. They are all now eligible.

Don West yells out 'It's not how you drive, it's how you arrive' - this man is too much.

The finish comes with Suicide on top of the penalty box and a ladder is on top of the box with Lethal caught under it and Creed on top of the box with Suicide. As this happens Shelley climbs another ladder to try and hang the title but Suicide runs across his ladder and delivers a neck break to the climbing Shelley, takes the title and re-positions the ladder to climb and hang the title so Suicide retains the title.

Lauren is backstage with Shane Douglas. Douglas says that 'as the old man says - to be the man you have to beat the man'. Douglas says he set the standard in this history and has made a career by beating punks that want to make a name off of him.

Shane Douglas Vs Daniels - loser of the match loses their spot on the TNA roster

Daniels is selling his right arm as the story of the match and has to work without it (maybe this was a play off of his infamous 'Monday Nitro' match with Michael Modest in 2000). Daniels controlled most of the match and won after hitting the BME, so that's it for Douglas and this program is over.

Borash is backstage with Mick Foley, who says that Jeff Jarrett will have his back in the main event and only has to worry about the other three. He says after he retains he will not defend the title until 'Bound for Glory' in 2010.

Angelina Love Vs Tara for the TNA Knockout's Title

Love retains the title after Tara leaves the ring to attack Madison Rayne and this allows Sky to grab the hair spray and spray Tara in the eyes and Love gets the win over Tara. I assume this feud will continue.

Lauren is backstage with Dr. Stevie and Daffney. Stevie says Abyss is a jigsaw puzzle that can never be put back together. Raven says he likes Lauren and compares her to a human excrement. Raven says tonight will be a glorious night of redemption. Raven ends with a maniacal laugh and then starts to cry.

Raven & Daffney Vs Abyss & Taylor Wilde in a 'Monster's Ball Match'

This was everything you would expect in this style of match involving Abyss and Raven. Highlights were a splash by Wilde off the entrance ramp onto Daffney on table, Daffney and Raven both took bumps on the tacks. Abyss took another half dozen unprotected shots to the head and it just makes me angry watching it - this guy will be a mess in 10 years and everyone knows it and he continues to work these ridiculous spots. Abyss got the clean pinfall on Raven after the tack spot.

Jeff Jarrett is with Borash backstage. Jarrett says he has no desire to be TNA champion but says he has to get control of his company back and get the title back or he won't be able to sleep at night. That would indicate to me that he does have a desire to be champion again.

They are doing a storyline that 3-D have not arrived at the building since they worked the New Japan show and had to fly back right away - that sounds so minor league that their tag champs aren't at their anniversary event because they were working for another promotion.

Matt Morgan Vs Sting

This match was all Morgan with Sting not getting any offense. Morgan went to give Sting the hell-evator anf Sting was supposed to reverese and hit the scorpion death drop but it was botched. Morgan threw Sting into the corner and went for a splash but missed, Sting gave him a death drop from the second rope and get the pin.

They run an ad for this year's 'Bound for Glory' event on October 18th in Los Angeles, California.

Samoa Joe and A.J Styles are backstage with Lauren. Styles say the 'King of the Mountain' match is all about strategy. Joe says he eliminated Steiner, Booker and Nash and tonight it finishes with Angle. He says Styles and him will be the most powerful combination in wrestling history tonight.

Team 3-D Vs Beer Money Inc. for the TNA Tag Titles

This match was very good and by the end the audience was into all of the near falls. The British Invasion came to ringside during the match with Williams and Magnus going on commentary and were hilarious with Don West. Storm accidentally spit beer in the face of Roode and Ray and D-Von attempted the 3-D but Rob Terry distracted the ref. This led to Ray knocking Terry off the apron and then dove off the top turnbuckle to the floor in a scary looking spot. This left D-Von in the ring and he took the DWI (Drinking While Investing) and pinning D-Von for the titles.

Kurt Angle who has grown in a beard and is trying to grow his hair back (it isn't all coming back) and looks significantly older (likely for the movie 'Warrior' he is currently filming). He said tonight's match is about ending things between Joe and himself.

Mick Foley Vs Jeff Jarrett Vs A.J Styles Vs Samoa Joe Vs Kurt Angle for the TNA Title in a 'King of the Mountain Match'

This was a good match with big efforts from Styles and Foley who bumped a lot in this match. Styles is going to be sore tomorrow as will Foley. The story was Joe trying to take out Angle and Foley believing that Jarrett would help him out - and didn't. The crowd was really hot when they teased Styles winning the match. Foley did a huge elbow off the penalty box onto Angle. The finish saw Joe and Angle climbing up the ladder with Joe having the title and then stopped and handed the title to Angle, who hung it up and won the match. Logic was devoid in the thought process of this turn. The Mafia came out and applauded Joe.

The Joe swerve at the end has me scratching my head, but since I think he sucks no matter what it doesn't peak my interest at all.

I hope Shane's not done yet.
